Success at EIFA for Júlia Deák’s short film
Identification  has won another accolade, this time at an online festival. Júlia Deák’s short film has been awarded the Platinum Award in the European Independent Film Best Short Film category. 
At the second European Independent Film Award online festival awards were presented at Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze levels. In Júlia Deák’s Identification, seventeen-year-old Meggie is in Budapest trying to find the scene of a death march that took place in 1944. 
Deák’s film, which also won an award at the Swiss International Film Festival in September of this year, has been premiered at nine festivals worldwide, including the United States and Canada. Júlia Deák not only directs, but also produces, edits and shoots her own films.
The aim of the annual EIFA (European Independent Film Award) competition is to celebrate independent filmmaking around the world. Entries are judged by an international jury of fifteen experts in the field
